SUPPORT TEEN
QUEST |
|
Teen Quest is an independent non-profit youth mission that relies solely
on the support of God's people for prayer and financial support. We are
not endorsed or funded by any denomination or corporation. Simply put Teen
Quest is you and people like you who care deeply about teenagers and want
to see them reached for Christ. If you are able to help us achieve this
prayerfully drop us an email and let us know you are praying for this ministry.
If you are able to help financially any gift is appreciated. Your donation
is tax deductible and we will send you a receipt for your records. It is
easy to make a donation online using PayPal.

One-Time Donation
The simplest way to give. However, you can deduct a cash
gift for income tax purposes only in the year in which you contribute it.
Your cash gifts are deductible up to 50 percent of your adjusted gross
income for the taxable year, but any excess is deductible over the next
five years.

Priority Club
The Teen Quest Priority Club is made up of individuals who are partnering
with Teen Quest on a monthly basis. Just like a one-time cash donation you
can deduct your monthly gifts in the year in which you contribute them. |

Support one of our Missionaries
Teen Quest missionaries all raise their own
support. You could help change the lives of teens by giving to our
missionaries. |

Living Memorial Gift
When someone close to you goes home to
be with the Lord, you want to do something that is fitting, meaningful,
and sincere. Often it is a time when mere words are not enough. You wish
to do more.
Many Teen Quest partners are finding
Living Memorial gifts to be meaningful and lasting tributes to a friend or
loved one who has gone to be with the Lord. Each Living Memorial gift
offers a rare opportunity to fulfill a personal obligation to a bereaved
family, and to see the memory of a loved one live on through the work of
Teen Quest. Through the thoughtfulness and concern expressed with a Living
Memorial gift, Teen Quest can continue to touch lives for Jesus Christ
through its many outreaches.
When your Living Memorial gift is received
a card is sent to the family of the person honored, telling them their
loved one has been memorialized. The person is also given a special
section in our Quest publication in his or her memory.

Stock Gifts
The best
stocks to donate are those that have increased greatly in value,
particularly those producing a low yield.
Closely held stock, that which is not publicly traded, can also be used as
a charitable gift even if you want to maintain a control position in the
stock.
STOCK: The gift that gives three ways!
1. Reduce your Capital
Gains Tax
2. Deduct the stock's full
value as a charitable donation
3. Teen Quest is able to
use the stock's full value to spread the Gospel. |

Gifts of Life Insurance
You can donate a life insurance policy to us or simply name us as the
beneficiary. For the gift of a paid-up policy, you will receive an income
tax deduction equal to the lesser of the cash value of the policy or the
total premiums paid. To qualify for the federal charitable contribution
deduction on a gift of an existing policy, you must name us as owner and
beneficiary. |

Giving Real Estate
Other Possible Real Estate Gifts:
A gift of real estate isn't limited to your main personal residence. If
you own more than one home and one of them sits idle, or you prefer not to
retain ownership of one of them for some reason, or you have a little-used
vacation home, for instance, you have a potential gift of real estate.
If you're considering giving your farm, the gift of the
acreage may include or exclude the farmhouse. There are many options open
to you for giving real-estate. |

Giving Through Your Will
Take Control of Your Legacy. What you put in your will is what
people will remember you by. Your will gives you the opportunity to
transfer the values that are important to you. And one of the best ways to
leave a legacy like this is to make charitable bequests in your will.
Remembering Teen Quest in your will is a fitting testimony of your belief
in our mission. When you name us as a beneficiary, you have many choices.
One possibility is a bequest of a fixed
dollar amount. Another is to give us a percentage of the estate,
which allows you to keep the division of the estate residue in desired
proportions, regardless of its size.
To avoid trouble for your heirs, be sure to
seek the counsel of an attorney who specializes in probate and estate
planning.
